This year’s fête was a great success and we'd like to thank everyone who supported, helped and volunteered to make it a great community event.
A total profit of approx. £2000 was raised for the village, which is a brilliant figure.
Grants given this year are as follows:
2021
The Country Fête was not held this year due to covid restrictions and keeping the safety of all as the focus. We did however run a raffle which will was drawn on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August. This was to help ensure that future Fêtes could continue to run and to raise money for Easterton causes and businesses as well as the continuation of bringing everyone together at a traditional community event.
2020
After considerable discussion the Committee took the difficult decision that the 2020 Country Fête would not go ahead as normal due to covid & lockdown. Our main aim is to run a safe and fun day out for all ages and due to the situation we remained strong in our conviction that running this event would not be the safest plan for everyone.
2019
This year’s fête was hugely successful and we thank everyone who supported, helped and volunteered to make it a great community event.
A total profit of £3,125 was raised for the village, which is a fantastic figure. We are particularly grateful for the 272 attendees who registered their vote for their preferred recipients of monies raised.
Bids received this year totaled £3,170 and with the addition of a modest £45 from reserves we were able to satisfy all requests in full, well done everyone. Grants given were:
